The Seeway Trust is a small South West UK based, inter-denominational Christian run charity, who's members are dedicated to helping children who live in impoverished areas of the world. Our primary vision is to see children rescued from poverty and given the opportunity to grow up and live a life useful to the society in which they live. Our mission - to rescue God's children.

Our aim - To provide children with food, a home as  part of a caring family, a good education and a future.

Many children of the world live in desperate poverty, with no food and not even a roof over their head. They sleep under bushes, trees, boxes and rubbish, many are abused or left abandoned to die. Our mission is to provide some of these children with not only food and a roof, but also a caring home environment to allow them to flourish. 

We also try and ensure their educational needs are catered for, so that they may grow up to be a useful part of the society in which they live.

Sometimes this involves finding or building, a suitable orphanage and supplying funds to cover the costs. Other times it means helping provide a school classroom, or starting a farm to provide food, supplying a nurse and setting up medical facilities, or digging a bore hole to provide fresh water. But whichever, it always means supplying money !

This is Prince, he was found on a rubbish tip, we believe he was only one day old and birds were starting to eat his umbilical cord. He was taken to the Countryside Children's Welfare Home near Accra, Ghana. 

This home is in partnership with Seeway Trust and Prince is now sponsored by a couple from the UK. This sponsorship will take care of his basic needs such as food, clean water, somewhere to sleep, clothing and education.

There are many children with similar stories as Prince, £18 a month will
sponsor such a child. Its not a lot to ask is it?

All money donated goes towards the children. When you give to the Seeway Trust - 100% of donated money to goes to where it is most needed, - to shelter, feed, clothe and educate children in our care.

Our trustees, board members and helpers, are volunteers who burn with desire to help children who are desperately impoverished. We take no pay, not even our expenses are taken from the donations. We use our holidays to make visits and oversee all our projects, - the children's rescue homes, feeding programmes, building projects etc.

The UK Government operates a 'Gift Aid' scheme, whereby tax paid on donations, are reclaimed by the charity that is supported. From 1999 and 2000 the Seeway Trust administration costs were approximately 3%. This is far less than what we managed to recoup from your Tax paid to the Government. So we are pleased to be able to continue to say - that all of your money given will be used for the benefit of the children.

For as little as £7 per month, you can ensure that a needy child in the  Ukraine will eat one square meal a day, - five days a week, - for a whole month!

£18 a month sponsors a child in Ghana for all their food, shelter, clothes and education!

One off gifts and donations help provide our orphanages with improved facilities and can help buy land, build classrooms and medical centres, or start farms for feeding programmes.
